A
special seminar on the Web2.0 and online
security was organized at the 'Maison de Jeunes'
in Douala from the 4th to the 10th of August
2011 on the theme: THE WEB2.0 and ONLINE
SECURITY.
This
seminar brought together experts from
Cameroon, International Volunteers from China,
Europe and the USA.
The
mission of these series of nation wide seminars
is to PREPARE THE CAMEROON YOUTHS FOR THE
DIGITAL AGE.
Despite the heavy down pours in Douala, 86
citizens from different social sectors come
together in Metropolitan Douala to build their
capacities in:

through the Internet;

Online broadcasting (Web video, photos
album…);

Video conferencing and free talk;

Build a web community and communicate on
projects, services etc;

E-health, E-tourism, E-government;

The fundamentals of online safety;

How to protect their homes and offices using
the Internet.
