“CYBER ANGELS”
aims to build a network of communities and
people to report on the 2011/2012 Presidential/Parliamentary
elections in Cameroon.
Mapping and visualizing results can help tell
better stories and make information more
concrete and along the line stimulate a greater
number of citizens to get interested and
engaged, not just for elections, but during the
entire run up to the elections, from mapping
voter registration to redistricting, breaking
news, movement of journalists and resource
persons, opening and closing hours of voting
stations, pools etc.
We will be using modern day Web 2.0 applications
to collect and share information (data) from the
field.
5.000 virtual Volunteers are being recruited
nationwide to report, before during and after
the presidential/parliamentary elections in
Cameroon
