Thanks to the joint efforts of Mr Josselin M. YOUMBI, Coordinator of YOCANET
and Excel Asama, President of i-Vission International, participants learnt how
to use local ovaltine cans to create a Wifi Antena to cover a distance of 3-5km.
It was an emotional moments as participants discovered the secrets behinfd the
ICT including:
The creation of a
hotspot and acess points (open mesh) using locally made antenna to
capture Internet signals
Sharing internet access using indoor electrical cabling systems
Community communication through VOIP...
Youths from Bamenda, Yaounde, Ngaoundere, Douala promised tto get back and
impact a change in their various communities. This project will assist them
technically in due season
